On 6 August 2024, Serena Kennedy, Merseyside's Chief Constable, treated the British people to these Orwellian threats following the protests that ensued after the murder of three little girls in Southport.
"What I would say to those pepole who think they've got away with being involved in the disorder on Tuesday or on Saturday, you absolutely haven't got away with it! WE ARE COMING FOR YOU! We've got HOURS of social media footage, we've got HOURS of CCTV footage!Hands up who think this person has the best interests of the British people at heart..."
I've got officers working round the clock to identify who you are, where you live, where you work! WE ARE COMING FOR YOU!...
You haven't got away with it, WE ARE COMING FOR YOU! YOU WILL FEEL THE FULL FORCE OF THE LAW!"
In the 31 July edition of The Liverpool Echo, Kennedy was quoted thus:
"There was information out there that we were going to see possibly people from the far-right attending in Southport... There was intelligence that the far-right were going to attend, which is why we had three full Police Support Units ready to deal with that..."Far-right?" "EDL?"
We understand there were people who identify as English Defence League attending here yesterday. I am aware that other factions would say they haven't existed for a number of years, but based on how people were defining themselves on our intelligence picture, that is what we understand."
Presententing the gullible with all the right buzz-words, wasn't she?
Her masters will, I'm sure, be pleased.
