Marriage is an institution developed from rape?

In 1970, referring to marriage as 'a slavery-like practice,' American feminist, Robin Morgan, editor of 'Ms Magazine,' said this in 'Sisterhood is Powerful,' p. 537.
"We can't destroy the inequities between men and women until we destroy marriage."
In her 1981 essay, 'Pornography,' Andrea Dworkin said this:
“Marriage as an institution developed from rape as a practice. Rape, originally defined as abduction, became marriage by capture."
In the March 1973 edition of 'Saturday Review of Education,' Gloria Steinem had this to say:
“We have to abolish and reform the institution of marriage... By the year 2000 we will, I hope, raise our children to believe in human potential, not God...
We must understand what we are attempting is a revolution, not a public relations movement.”

In the 25 April 1981 edition of 'The Daily Illini,' Vivian Gornick opined thus:
“Being a housewife is an illegitimate profession…
The choice to serve and be protected and plan towards being a family-maker is a choice that shouldn’t be. The heart of radical feminism is to change that.”

In her essay, ‘Against Marriage and Motherhood,’ 'Hypatia,' vol. 11, no. 3, Summer 1996, Claudia Card said this:
“Legal marriage thus enlists state support for conditions conducive to murder and mayhem.”
In the Fall, 1969 issue of 'WOMEN: A Journal of Liberation,' Linda Gordon said this in "Functions of the Family:'
"The nuclear family must be destroyed, and people must find better ways of living together.... Whatever its ultimate meaning, the break-up of families now is an objectively revolutionary process...
No woman should have to deny herself any opportunities because of her special responsibilities to her children."
Bringing the heterosexual-marriage-is-for-losers theme right up to date we have the American lesbian, Masha Gessen, who, at a June 2012 Festival in Sydney, artfully insisted that, at the same time as the destruction of marriage was as laudable a goal as ever, the right for homosexuals to marry if they wished was also worth fighting for!
"It’s a no-brainer that we should have the right to marry, but I also think equally that it’s a no-brainer that the institution of marriage should not exist... [Cheers from the audience]

Fighting for gay marriage generally involves lying about what we are going to do with marriage when we get there because we lie that the institution of marriage is not going to change and that is a lie. The institution of marriage is going to change! And it should change! And again, I don’t think it should exist...

I have three kids who have five parents, more or less, and I don’t see why they shouldn’t have five parents legally...

I met my new partner and she had just had a baby, and that baby’s biological father is my (Jewish) brother, and my daughter’s biological father is a man who lives in Russia (Jewish?) and my adopted son also considers him his father... I would like to live in a legal system that is capable of reflecting that reality. And I don’t think that’s compatible with the institution of marriage."
All of the feminists cited above are/were Jewish.

Just to even up the tribal score a little, here's something Barbara Ehrenreich said in the 5 February 1996 edition of 'Time Magazine:'
"Only with the occasional celebrity crime do we allow ourselves to think the nearly unthinkable: that the family may not be the ideal and perfect living arrangement after all - that it can be a nest of pathology and a cradle of gruesome violence...
Even in the ostensibly 'functional' non-violent family, where no one is killed or maimed, feelings are routinely bruised and often twisted out of shape."
As suggested, Ehrenreich is not Jewish. However, this self-hating WASP was clearly subject to Jewish influences. Here's something she admitted to in the 5 April 1992 edition of The New York Times:
"Motherhood put the screws on me, ethnicity-wise. I had hoped that by marrying a man of Eastern European-Jewish ancestry I would acquire for my descendants the ethnic genes that my own forebears so sadly lacked. At one point, I even subjected the children to a Passover seder of my own design."
The pathological outlook of the American-Jewish feminist does not impose any restrictions upon itself when it comes to hatred of anything that works in white world.

Here are a few more illuminating quotations from Messrs Morgan and Dworkin:
“My white skin disgusts me. My passport disgusts me. They are the marks of an insufferable privilege bought at the price of others’ agony. If I could peel myself inside out I would be glad. If I could become part of the oppressed I would be free.” (Morgan: 'The Demon Lover: The Roots of Terrorism' - 2001)
"I feel that 'man-hating' is an honourable and viable political act, that the oppressed have a right to class-hatred against the class that is oppressing them." (Morgan: keynote address to West Coast Lesbian Feminist Conference - 1973)
"White males are the most responsible for the destruction of human life and environment on the planet today. Yet who is controlling the supposed revolution?... White males (yes, yes, even with their pasty fingers in black and brown pies)...

Legitimate revolution must be led by, made by those who have been most oppressed: black, brown, yellow, red, and white women... Sexism is not the fault of women. Kill your fathers, not your mothers...

We love our Marxist sisters." (Morgan: 'Goodbye to All That' - January 1970)
"Under patriarchy, no woman is safe to live her life, or to love, or to mother children. Under patriarchy, every woman is a victim, past, present, and future. Under patriarchy, every woman's daughter is a victim, past, present, and future.
Under patriarchy, every woman's son is her potential betrayer and also the inevitable rapist or exploiter of another woman." (Dworkin - 'Liberty,' p. 58)
"The most dangerous situation for a woman is not an unknown man in the street, or even the enemy in wartime, but a husband or lover in the isolation of their home." (Dworkin: 'Revolution from Within: A Book of Self-Esteem,' pp. 259-61)
"One can know everything and still be unable to accept the fact that sex and murder are fused in the male consciousness, so that the one without the imminent possibly of the other is unthinkable and impossible...

The process of killing, both rape and battery are steps in that process, is the prime sexual act for men in reality and/or in imagination...

Men are biologically aggressive; their fetal brains were awash in androgen; their DNA, in order to perpetuate itself, hurls them into murder and rape...

In everything men make, they hollow out a central place for death, let its rancid smell contaminate every dimension of whatever still survives. Men especially love murder. In art they celebrate it, and in life they commit it. They embrace murder as if life without it would be devoid of passion, meaning, and action, as if murder were solace, still their sobs as they mourn the emptiness and alienation of their lives...

All men benefit from rape, because all men benefit from the fact that women are not free in this society; that women cower; that women are afraid; that women cannot assert the rights that we have, limited as those rights are, because of the ubiquitous presence of rape." (Dworkin: 'Letters from a War Zone' - 1993)
"Romance is rape embellished with meaningful looks." (Dworkin: The Philadelphia Inquirer - 21 May 1995)
“Every woman's son is her potential betrayer and also the inevitable rapist or exploiter of another woman." (Dworkin: quoted in Weisburg: 'Applications of Feminist Legal Theory to Women's Lives' - 1996)
“Only when manhood is dead, and it will perish when ravaged femininity no longer sustains it, only then will we know what it is to be free." (Dworkin: M.I.T. speech - 26 September 1975)
And you had no idea at all that the Jewish-American feminist despises you as much as it does, did you, Mr. White?

And we do think it's you that Dworkin, Morgan et al are after, don't we? We really don't think they want Mr. Black or Mr Brown or, heaven forbid, their mega-rich off-white kinfolks, you know, those who infest Wall Street, the world of academia, Hollywood and the rest of the media, stretched out on the rack with the thumbscrews liberally applied, now do we?

Just so you know I'm not some cherry-picking anti-Semite, here's one last quotation from a Jewish feminist by the name of Susan Gubar. This from her 1994 essay, 'Eating the Bread of Affliction:'
"Jewish experience has profoundly shaped the evolution of feminist thinking in our times."
Have the thoughts of the Jewish feminist profoundly affected the rest of us?

Down my way the jury is no longer out.
