A few years ago I started taking statin, knowing that, yes, it has all the benefits, and, I tell you, after a few weeks I started having muscle aches, my sleep disturbance... We know that, at least one percent of people... developed diabetes type 2. Memory loss that's another one.
So, in a way, what pharmaceutical company does... they hype up the benefits and deflate the harms...
Just remember one thing, eighty percent of of the causes where you have heart disease, is nothing to do with cholesterol. It's to do with your lifestyle, with your smoking, with what you eat, diet-related. So, in a way, it will give false assurance to people that you take Statins and forget about the lifestyle sort of things...
I'm not undermining Statins. Statins should be used judiciously, where they are needed. Not for healthy people. Not for you and me."
