The US government views you and me as the enemy

On 24 June 2013, former Texas Congressman and candidate for the Republican Presidential nomination, Ron Paul, said this on his Facebook page:
“My understanding is that espionage means giving secret or classified information to the enemy.
Since Snowden (the former National Security Agency/CIA whistleblower) shared information with the American people, his indictment for espionage could reveal (or confirm) that the US Government views you and me as the enemy.”

On 24 February 2010, he said this in the House of Congress:

"What have we allowed ourselves to become? Are we no longer a nation of laws? Have we become instead a nation of men who make secret arrests? Are secret prisons now simply another tool of the federal government law enforcement? Is secret rendition of individuals now permitted…
Have we decided that the writ of habeas corpus is not worth defending? Is torture now an acceptable tool for making us safe? Unfortunately, the single answer to all of these questions from the leaders of our country and to many of our citizens appears to be yes."
One of these days, the sheeple, lemmings, zombies and assorted automatons of Yankee-land may just elect the right President.

Don't hold your breath.
