The Pandemic could go on indefinitely!

On 26 January 2021, an unusually honest Leo Varadkar said this in the Government Buildings, Dublin:

“It’s always going to be active in some part of the world. So whenever you reopen your country, you then don’t have zero-Covid anymore... So that is one of the problems with the zero-Covid strategy or elimination strategy. It is not possible for us... because then inevitably, you let the virus back in again...

Maybe it will be the case that international travel is not possible this summer, and not possible this Christmas. I certainly don't want to close off that possibility today but maybe we'll have to. If you're serious about elimination and you're serious about Covid being zero surely you would go on for a couple of years, OR MAYBE INDEFINITELY!"

So, according to Ireland's gay, half-Indian former Prime Minister, the 'pandemic' could go on forever!

And thus, one presumes, we could be locked down forever!

You up for this Mr Ireland? Mr. England? Ms Scotland? Miss Wales? You up for a 'great reset' that sees us all confined, more or less permanently, to house arrest, masks, separation from our loves ones and familiar pastimes, pursuits and congregational way of life?

I'm not. And those who would have us live like this, those who, I'm sure, have been planning to have us live like this for quite some time, can GO F*** THEMSELVES!
