"Keeping the death toll down matters but it isn't the only thing that matters. Christmas is a celebration of some of the most basic values of humanity... The people who are urging the government to lock everyone down for Christmas are fanatics! They're only interested in the death toll and hospitalisations, they're only looking at a part of a much more complicated problem...A thousand light more sagacity in this fine gent than Chris Whitty, Patrick Vallance, Matt Hancock, Boris Johnson and all the #SAGE "fanatics" put together.
The government has been preaching the gospel of lockdown for eight months... The fact is they do not work. If we were all to be sedated, locked in wooden boxes permanently and fed by robots, that might work."
