Government rejects petition - Our health is not its 'responsibility!'

On 18 November 2020, the petition below was submitted to the UK Government and Parliament in the hopes that, if accepted, it might be debated in parliament:
"Re-evaluate NHS criteria for publicly recording a positive Covid-19 test result. The current NHS cycle threshold for public health recording of a positive C-19 PCR test result is 40. Several studies show that a PCR cycle threshold of 35 is already too high to detect active infection accurately. Government must lower the cycle threshold for public reporting of positive results."
More details
"Positive Covid-19 PCR test numbers are being used to justify measures that are driving economic collapse, mental health decline, and poor quality of life for UK citizens. The NHS Guidance on Covid testing uses a PCR cycle threshold of 40, despite multiple scientific studies showing that this number is too high to accurately detect contagious infection. The number should be lowered to reduce the reporting of false positives, and to provide the public with a truthful picture of Covid-19 infection."
On 24 November the UK Government rejected this petition.

Why was it rejected? The government told us this:
"It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not responsible for!

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is a clinical decision for the NHS."
So, here we see that Boris Johnson's government has wholly ceded it's responsibility for the protection of the nation's health to the NHS, or, more accurately, to Chris Whitty, the Chief Medical Officer!

To do so, I believe, is almost an act of treason, it is certainly a grotesque dereliction of duty. It is also a frank admission that, in matters of the nation's health, those we voted for are not, in fact, in charge.

So, when we question government's health policy, and point out where we believe it to be getting that policy wrong, the government, according to the government itself, cannot be held to account because it is 'not responsible!'

Isn't that convenient?

Well, you know what they said at Nuremberg, don't you?
"We were only following orders..."
That lame excuse saved very few lesser lights. Do Boris and co. really imagine that, when the court of public opinion is finally in session, 'it was Chris Whitty's fault,' will see the ultimate decision-makers avoid the chop?

We don't think so, do we?

As for the petition itself, the question it poses is crucially important. The PCR test at a 'cycle threshold of 40' is light years beyond useless. Countless scientific studies have shown this to be the case. As Chris Whitty and Patrick Vallance would appear to have OK'd this, they should have been removed from their advisory positions long ago, as should every member of SAGE who has given the test their blessing.

However, as the government has decided that oversight in this area is not its 'responsibility', such fundamental questions as that cited here remain unanswered.

THEY are at war with us.

THEY want us gone.

I hope you're beginning to see that now.
