UN Report on the 2018 killings of 183 civilians in Gaza

During the 5 March 2019, 'Democracy Now' interview, Professor Norman Finkelstein says:
"What most struck me about the report was it is remarkably honest... It forthrightly stated that Israel targets, intentionally, children during these demonstrations. It targets reporters, it targets medical personnel...
When it looks at the damages done to the people of Gaza, they devote ten full pages. And then there's a section called 'Impact on Israel,' it's three paragraphs. And that's exactly what the reality shows. That, overwhelmingly, in fact, almost entirely, all the infliction of death and destruction is on the Palestinian side... These are massacres, they're not conflicts, they're not engagements, they're just outright massacres of, overwhelmingly, unarmed, non-violent demonstrators."
Thanks, Norman, meticulously honest, as always.

Sara Hossain, a member of the UN independent commission that conducted the Gaza investigation added:
"183 Palestinians have been killed in the course of the period that we have investigated, which is from the 30th of March to the 31st of December (2018)… We also found… over 6,000 injuries to Palestinians caused by live fire."
And barely a peep from the UK's mainstream media.

Sort of makes you wonder whose side our journalistic community is on, doesn't it?

Actually, no. No, it doesn't. Not if you've done your research. Not if you've bothered to scratch the surface of the actuality. Then you don't wonder at all.

Then you know that the situation is excruciatingly normal.

And just as the powers-that-be want it.

P.S. Professor Finkelstein is Jewish.
