Don't walk in refugee areas!

In late January 2016, at a meeting organised by the Mayor in the German town of Bad Schlema, a grandfather voiced concerns about increasing incidents of sexual harassment of young girls on their way to school.

His own granddaughter had been victimised by 'refugees' and he was worried it would get worse in the summer when the town's young girls wore less clothing or when they were taking physical education lessons.

The mayor's reply, as you can see, 'It's simple, don't provoke them and don't walk in these areas,' outraged the normally placid Germany citizenry.

The Mayor would later threaten to call the police and clear the room because of 'incitement.' He added:
"It's not necessary to walk near the refugee shelters, there are alternative routes."
Because of the refugee crisis engendered by this kind of official mentality it's hardly surprising that Germany's new Right Wing Party, 'Alternative for Germany' has progressed from under 4% to 12.5% in the latest polls.
