Emily Thornberry's phoney outrage

Labour's former Shadow Attorney General, who demonstrated so quintessentially what the Champagne Socialist thinks of those who vote for her party recently, (white van man/English flag tweet) advertises herself here as having been brought up by a single mum on a Council estate.

Be aware as you watch the above video that Thornberry's absent dad had about as much in common with the 'absent dad' of legend as Ed Miliband has with the 'horny handed sons of toil' that made Britain great.

Her father, Cedric Thornberry, was, in fact, a top international lawyer and, at one time, rose to be the Assistant-Secretary-General of the United Nations, no less. For which organisation he worked for 17 years.

Politicians don't just lie by outrageous porkie. They lie by omission and imputation as well.

They truly are the worst of us.

Here's something Ms Thornberry once said that, on the face of it, seems praiseworthy.

Thing is, did Emily and her party ever do anything about it? They didn't, did they? For that matter, have the Tories and the Lib Dems sorted out the above since they've been in power? They have not. If something had been done that worked you can be sure those responsible would have trumpeted it from the rooftops.

Bottom line is, if you're truly concerned about your constituency's kids, you don't keep on importing third world muggers.

If white van men wants their country back and their children safe, every last one of them should erect a scaffold outside their house. Trust me, the Thornberries would keep their disrespect to themselves after that.
