The Obama administration is dedicated to increasing terrorism!

On 8 June 2013, Noam Chomsky, emeritus professor at the M.I.T., was interviewed by Laura Flanders for GRITtv at the Left Forum in New York.

In the interview Chomsky said:

“THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION IS DEDICATED TO INCREASING TERRORISM; in fact it’s doing it all over the world… Obama is running the biggest terrorist operation that exists, maybe in history: the drone assassination campaigns which are just part of it, there’s special forces operations and so on, ALL OF THESE OPERATIONS ARE TERROR OPERATIONS...

Villages, regions, countries are terrorised by these operations… And it has a reaction. People just don’t say, ‘Fine, I don’t care if my cousin was murdered.’ They become what we call terrorists. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD FROM THE HIGHEST :LEVEL… As you carry out these operations you are generating terrorism…

They are terrorist operations and they’re generating more terrorist operations… People hate the country that’s just terrorising them… That’s not a surprise. Just consider the way we react to acts of terror. That’s the way other people react to acts of terror...

The Osama Bin Laden case is quite dramatic. It almost led to a nuclear war. They way they tracked Bin Laden was by a vaccination campaign… a grotesque violation of Hippocratic oath…

Throughout much of the third world there’s a lot of fear and concern when rich white people sticking things into your arm. SENSIBLE FEAR. What are they up to? They have a history after all. This showed that the fear was correct. 

One of the consequences, right away… there were attacks on polio vaccination workers. By now the charges are credible, that these rich white guys are just trying to gather intelligence and undermine you and, maybe send more drones to attack you.

It was so severe that the UN had to pull out their vaccination teams.”

On Bradley Manning, the US soldier who passed classified material to WikiLeaks currently on trial charged with ‘aiding the enemy’ (and 21 other crimes), Chomsky said this:

“He ought to be regarded as a hero... the public has a right to know what's being done to them by their so-called elected representatives. But there's a principle that he's violating, namely that power has to be protected from scrutiny...

That's the principle of every dictatorship... you can hear it from the high priests of government. Bradley Manning is violating that.”

Comment is unnecessary when the wise have said it all.
