Shockingly, un-Americanly, white!

On 3 September 2008, Harold Meyerson, editor of The American Prospect and regular columnist for The Washington Post, said this in the latter:

“In a year when the Democrats have an African American presidential nominee, the Republicans now more than ever are THE WHITE FOLKS' PARTY, THE PARTY THAT DELAYS THE ADVENT OF OUR MULTICULTURAL FUTURE, the party of the American past.

Republican conventions have long been bastions of de facto Caucasian exclusivity, but coming right after the diversity of Denver, this year's GOP convention is ALMOST SHOCKINGLY, UN-AMERICANLY, WHITE.

Long term, THIS WHITENESS IS A HUGE PROBLEM. This year, however, whiteness is the only way Republicans cling to power. If the election is about the economy, they're cooked, and their silence this week on nearly all things economic means that they know it.”

Meyerson’s parents were both long time leaders of the Socialist Party of America. He, himself, is a vice-Chairman of the National Political Committee of the Democratic Socialists of America.

He is also, pretty obviously, an anti-white racist of the first water. Of course, in the insane age we are living through, that is almost a badge of merit in PC and other establishment circles.

Try and picture the fury that would have erupted had he sneered at black people the way he does at us. Even better, imagine a white journalist describing Meyerson’s Jewishness as ‘shockingly un-American’ and a ‘huge problem’ Anyone who dared say such a thing wouldn’t last two minutes in a profession dominated by Meyerson's fellow travellers.

Oh no. In an America where the media is dominated, at every level, by the the Chosen, those who weren't up for the Jews-are-beyond-reproach-and-so-much-better-than-us agenda, would be toast.

P.S. In 2009, Meyerson was named as one of ‘the most influential commentators in the nation’ by The Atlantic Monthly.
