Illuminating quotations (10)

On 12 June 2011, Tony Blair was quoted thus by The Guardian:

“I have always been very certain about my ethical values."
You certainly did clue us up on your ethics whilst you were in power, Tony. Everything for the New World Order, Israel and your past, present and future paymasters. Sweet FA for for the rest of us.

“I came out of university in 1975. Life had got tougher. Idealism wasn’t enough; we were far more practically focused.”
Yep. No idealist you, Tony.

“Reports of my wealth are greatly exaggerated.”
Compared to whom? Compared to the out of work teenager on Tyneside? Or the Oligarch billionaires you were so fond of?

“The experiment that said ‘the bigger the state, the more just the society’ clearly failed. There is no point pretending that it didn’t.”
Whose experiment was that, Tony? It certainly wasn’t one the majority of the British wanted to take part in.

“One thing I am sure of is that the way to make poor people better off is not just to target a wealthier group of people and take their money off them.”
Oh, we got that, Tony. The fact that you weren’t ever going to make the fattest of the fat cats pay what they ought was written in very large letters indeed.

"People always used to say to me: listen to the people. That was a fine idea, of course, but unfortunately the people were all saying different things.”
The people were ALL saying different things? Some of the time maybe, most of the time, no. Much of the time a clear majority were saying they wanted 'things' and you, very deliberately, took no notice.

“I read the Qur’an every day… it is immensely instructive.”
On 13 June 2011, The Dail Mail clarified Blair’s attitude to all things Qur’anic thus:

“Mr Blair has previously praised the Muslim faith as ‘beautiful’ and said the Prophet Mohammed had been ‘an enormously civilizing force’. In 2006 he said the Koran was a ‘reforming book, it is inclusive. It extols science and knowledge and abhors superstition. It is practical and way ahead of its time in attitudes to marriage, women and governance’.”
So now you know.

On 1 June 2010, Melanie Phillips reported thus in The Daily Mail:

“The stellar career of DAVID LAWS has been ruined by yet another episode of that long-running Westminster drama: HOW TO RIP OFF THE TAXPAYER AND NEARLY GET AWAY WITH IT. For let there be absolutely no mistake: despite all the self-justifying soap-operatics about how he had been too terrified to reveal that he was gay, the events that brought him down had absolutely nothing to do with his sexuality.

After all, his much-vaunted 'desire for privacy' had not forced him to claim some £40,000 in expenses to cover his 'rent' - WHICH WENT STRAIGHT TO HIS LONG-TERM GAY LOVER, THUS EFFECTIVELY CHANNELLING TAXPAYERS' MONEY INTO HIS OWN HOUSEHOLD.

Nor - even more damagingly - had his 'desire for privacy' caused him to reduce his expense claims for 'utilities' from between £50 and £150 per month to a mere £37 after the rules were changed in 2008, requiring MPs to provide receipts for any claims above £25.

Moreover HIS CLAIM THAT JAMES LUNDIE, HIS LOVER FOR THE PAST NINE YEARS, WAS NOT TECHNICALLY HIS PARTNER WAS CLEARLY UNSUSTAINABLE. After all, in 2007 Laws had extended the mortgage on his main Somerset home to help Lundie buy a property.

THIS NEW COALITION WAS SUPPOSED TO HERALD AN END TO SUCH POLITICAL ARROGANCE AND DECEIT; AN END TO THE ATTEMPTS BY VENAL POLITICIANS TO SPIN A SQUIRM THEIR WAY OUT OF TROUBLE BY TREATING THE PUBLIC AS IDIOTS.”

On 7 June 2010, The Daily Mail quoted New Labour leadership candidate, Ed Balls, as having said this to Gordon Brown:

"I SAID TO HIM THAT HE SHOULD'VE BEEN TALKING IMMIGRATION FOR THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF AND IT WAS A MISTAKE TO BRUSH IT UNDER THE CARPET. There is an economic impact on wages... The movement of unskilled workers could be destabilising."
The Mail was sceptical, saying:

"As a senior Treasury adviser in 2004, IT WAS MR BALLS' DEPARTMENT WHICH GAVE UNFETTERED ACCESS TO JOBS IN BRITAIN FOR THE NEW EU MEMBERS IN EASTERN EUROPE. And in 2006, as a City Minister, Mr BALLS LAVISHED PRAISE ON THE EU COMMON MARKET, CALLING IT 'ONE OF EUROPE'S DEFINING ACHIEVEMENTS'.”
The bloke’s a joke. Anyone who believes his volte-face is anything other than the most cynical politicking is a brainwashed moron or a bought-and-paid-for Ballsite.

Citing Peter Mandelson’s memoirs, The 14 July 2010 edition of The Daily Mail quoted Tony Blair as having described Gordon Brown as:

“MAD, BAD, DANGEROUS AND BEYOND HOPE OF REDEMPTION… FLAWED, LACKING PERSPECTIVE AND HAVING A PARANOIA ABOUT HIM… HE'S LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF THE MAFIOSI. HE'S AGGRESSIVE, BRUTAL… THERE IS NO ONE TO MATCH GORDON FOR SOMEONE WHO ARTICULATES HIGH PRINCIPLES WHILE PRACTISING THE LOWEST SKULDUGGERY.”
This is what Blair thought about the man he resigned in favour of.

On 11 July 2010, Leo McKinstry opined thus in The Daily Express:

“He is THE COMMITTED SOCIALIST WHO YEARNS FOR THE LUXURIOUS LIFESTYLE OF A WEALTHY OLIGARCH... The architect of the rebranding of his party HE ULTIMATELY CAME TO SYMBOLISE THE SHALLOWNESS, DECEIT, ELITISM AND HYPOCRISY THAT MADE LABOUR SO UNPOPULAR. This week Peter Mandelson, THE ‘PRINCE OF DARKNESS’, publishes his memoirs…

As we might expect from a politician who has spent a lifetime practising the arts of guile and duplicity MANDELSON’S AUTOBIOGRAPHY WILL HARDLY PRESENT THE RAW, UNVARNISHED TRUTH… Mandelson will no doubt glide smoothly over the disasters of his career such as his two resignations from Blair’s Cabinet or HIS CENTRAL ROLE IN THE CREATION OF THE £1BILLION MILLENNIUM DOME, THAT EXPENSIVE, HOLLOW MONUMENT TO NEW LABOUR’S VANITY…

Part PANTOMIME VILLAIN, part MACHIAVELLIAN OPERATOR… full of high theatricality and LOW CUNNING he was drawn to power and wealth like an eager bloodhound in search of its quarry... THE SON OF THE ADVERTISING MANAGER OF THE JEWISH CHRONICLE... his ambition drove him to the top... He enjoyed success as a television producer and then AS LABOUR’S CHIEF SPIN-DOCTOR UNDER NEIL KINNOCK...

He twice had to resign from the Cabinet in scandal, the first in 1998 over a property deal in which he failed to reveal that he had been given a private loan of £373,000 by the millionaire Labour MP Geoffrey Robinson, the second in 2001 over accusations that HE TRIED TO INFLUENCE THE AWARD OF BRITISH CITIZENSHIP TO AN INDIAN TYCOON...

He spent an unhappy few years as the British commissioner in Brussels before returning triumphantly to the Cabinet... This was the Indian summer of his political career as HE AMASSED AN ARRAY OF TITLES AND EXERTED UNPRECEDENTED CONTROL OVER GOVERNMENT…

Mandelson’s legacy... is a dubious one. THE TRIUMPH OF SPIN OVER SUBSTANCE DEGRADED POLITICS, LEADING TO ENDLESS MANIPULATION AND STATE PROPAGANDA. Britain’s involvement in the Iraq War, on the basis of a dodgy dossier, was the ultimate emblem of this approach. SPIN, MANDELSON’S CREATION, WAS THE POISON THAT DESTROYED LABOUR FROM WITHIN.”

On 17 July 2010, in an interview with Matthew Norman, The Daily Telegraph quoted Lord Peter Mandelson as having described Tony Blair thus:

“HE’S ABSOLUTELY HOPELESS… HE’S WEAK, HE’S SHALLOW, HE VACILLATES, HE CAN’T MAKE A DECISION, HE’S ONLY INTERESTED IN HIS OWN GLORY”.

The first known use of the word 'racist' appeared in the 1930 essay, 'The History of the Russian Revolution', which was written by Leon Trotsky.

Trotsky, born Leon Bronstein, the second most influential figure after Lenin in the early years of the Revolution, was Jewish. As was Mauritz Steinschneider who, in 1860, first coined the term, 'anti-Semitic.'

On 7 May 2011, former Mossad Chief, Meir Dagan, was quoted thus by The Jerusalem post:

“An aerial attack against Iran’s nuclear reactors would be foolish… Anyone attacking Iran needs to understand that it could start a regional war which will include missile fire from Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon.”

In Tony Blair's memoir, 'A Journey,' released on 1 September 2011, he wrote:

"When I addressed the TUC they were polite, but not much more than that. We both knew what we thought of each other... They couldn't understand why I was doing what I was doing; and I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY COULDN'T SEE IT WAS THE WAY OF THE FUTURE."
'The way of the future.' As if he'd know.

Mind you, insanely pompous t**rags do have a way of malleting the pieces of the jigsaw into the big picture that, from a distance, might make that big picture seem resolved.

Get your magnifying glasses out, folks, when the Blairs present you with a sugar lump, it's entirely likely to be a turd.

On 29 August 2010, Thilo Sarrazin, author of the book, 'Germany does away with itself’, and a member of the six-man board of Germany's Bundesbank, was quoted thus by The Daily Telegraph:

“All Jews share the same gene… Jews share a particular gene, Basques share particular genes, that differentiate them from others… The cultural peculiarities of the people is no myth, but determines the reality of Europe.

I DON’T WANT THE COUNTRY OF MY GRANDCHILDREN AND FOREFATHERS TO BE IN BROAD SWATHES MUSLIM, WHERE TURKISH AND ARABIC IS WIDELY SPOKEN, WHERE WOMEN WEAR HEADSCARVES AND WHERE THE DAILY RHYTHM OF LIFE IS SET BY THE CALL OF THE MUEZZINS. If I want to experience that, I can just take a vacation in the Orient.”
He was quoted thus by The Daily Express:

"MUSLIM IMMIGRANTS DON'T INTEGRATE AS WELL AS OTHER IMMIGRANT GROUPS across Europe. The reasons for this are apparently not based on their ethnicity, but are ROOTED IN THE CULTURE OF ISLAM".
In October 2009, Mr Sarrazin said that Turks were, 'CONQUERING GERMANY in exactly the same way the Kosovars conquered Kosovo: WITH A HIGHER BIRTH RATE.'

On 6 August 2010, The Pink Paper quoted the UK's leading gay activist, Peter Tatchell, thus:

"Our 2012 bid promoted London as a MULTICULTURAL city that celebrates EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY… Profiling and celebrating the many communities that make London such a wonderful, vibrant city would make the 2012 Olympics truly unique and special.

NO OTHER OLYMPIC HOST CITY HAS MADE CULTURAL DIVERSITY A FOCUS OF ITS GAMES... RACISM, MISOGYNY, HOMOPHOBIA AND ANTI-JEWISH AND ANTI-MUSLIM PREJUDICE contradict the Olympic values of non-discrimination and fair play...

It is not enough to have BLACK, FEMALE AND GAY staff and volunteers, or to include them in the Olympic ceremonials. London's DIVERSE communities should be an identifiable, visible highlight of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

This CULTURAL DIVERSITY should be a key selling point of the 2012 Olympics: LONDON AS A WORLD CITY THAT WELCOMES AND EMBRACES PEOPLE FROM ALL CULTURES.

I want THE CELEBRATION OF DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION to be a centrepiece feature of the 2012 games, so that LONDON CAN PROJECT THE DREAM OF A FUTURE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE FROM ALL CULTURES CAN LIVE, WORK AND LOVE TOGETHER."
'The dream of a future world where people from all cultures can live, work and love together,' muses the gay, Australian immigrant. Living and loving together in order to breed 'coffee coloured people by the score,' presumably.

And blotting out the white folk forever.

No indeed, the 'racism, misogyny, homophobia and anti-Jewish and anti-Muslim prejudice' of the nasty, white indigenous majority will not be allowed to stand if all the Peter pederasts have anything to do with it.

Pederast: 'A man who has sexual relations, especially anal intercourse, with a boy.' As far as I'm aware, Tatchell has never had 'anal intercourse with a boy.' However, he proudly boasts that Outrage!, the campaigning organisation which he heads, was responsible for launching 'a new campaign TO REDUCE THE AGE OF CONSENT TO FOURTEEN... FOURTEEN IS MORE REALISTIC THAN SIXTEEN AND MUCH FAIRER.'

And when, in New Labour’s first term, the government saw to it that the legal age of 'consent' regarding homosexual sex was lowered to sixteen, Tatchell was, actually, on the books as a legal advisor.

And then, on 27 June 1998, he was quoted thus in The Guardian:

"Several of my friends... had sex with adults FROM THE AGES OF NINE TO NINETEEN... It is time society acknowledged THE TRUTH THAT NOT ALL SEX INVOLVING CHILDREN IS UNWANTED, ABUSIVE AND HARMFUL".
