Teaching children the pleasures of gay sex

On 14 September 2008, The Mail on Sunday reported thus:

"CHILDREN AS YOUNG AS FIVE SHOULD BE TAUGHT TO UNDERSTAND THE PLEASURES OF GAY SEX, according to leaders of a TAXPAYER-FUNDED education project.

Heads of the project have set themselves a goal of 'CREATING PRIMARY CLASSROOMS WHERE QUEER SEXUALITIES ARE AFFIRMED AND CELEBRATED'.

The ambition was revealed in documents prepared for the No Outsiders project run by researchers from universities… At a seminar at Exeter University tomorrow, supporters of the group will… discuss 'PLEASURE AND DESIRE IN EDUCATIONAL CONTEXTS'.

A document prepared for the seminar and couched in convoluted academic jargon says: 'The team is concerned TO INTERROGATE THE DESEXUALISATION OF CHILDREN'S BODIES, THE NEGATION OF PLEASURE AND DESIRE IN EDUCATIONAL CONTEXTS, and the tendency to shy away from discussion of bodily activity in No Outsiders project work.

The danger of accusations of the corruption of innocent children has led team members to make repeated claims that this project is not about sex or desire… Yet, at a very significant level, THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IT IS ABOUT and to deny this may have significant negative implications for children and young people’.

BOOKS, PUPPET SHOWS AND PLAYS ARE USED TO TEACH CHILDREN ABOUT SAME-SEX RELATIONSHIPS.

The seminar will 'question the taken-for-granted of the SUPPOSEDLY SEXLESS, BODILESS AND DESIRE-LESS PRIMARY CLASSROOM' and examine 'the place of the research team members' own bodies, desires and pleasures in this research'…

Patricia Morgan, author of studies of family life and gay adoption, said: 'The proposal is that primary school classrooms should be turned into gay saunas. This is about homosexual practice in junior schools. THE IDIOTS WHO REPEALED SECTION 28 SHOULD CONSIDER THAT THIS IS WHERE IT HAS GOT THEM'."

They’re not idiots, Pat. They’re traitors.

Simon Calvert of the Christian Institute also said:

"When an adult who is working in a primary school suggests that children should explore their sexuality, THAT SHOULD RESULT IN A COMPLAINT TO THE POLICE."

It should, Simon, but when you’ve got the likes of the ultra-gay Peter Mandelson foisting the Blair project upon the rest of us, it won’t.

The article above speaks of 'a seminar at Exeter University,' held yesterday, 15 September 2008. The seminar made no bones at all regarding its intentions. Those who ran the show were quite blasé about their aspirations for our children. The title that the No Outsiders reseach team gave to their seminar was this: 'Queering the Body; Queering Primary Education.' That’s the world that Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, Peter Mandelson, David Miliband and all of those MPs who voted to repeal section 28 have foist upon us and our children.

Fin Cullen, one of those who spoke at the Queering the Body; Queering Primary Education seminar, chose to speak about this subject: 'Subversion and the Carnivalesque: Breaking Rules in the Queer Classroom.'

This particular lady appears in Facebook. Here is some of her freely available personal information. Facebook groups she belongs to include: Friends of Southall Black Sisters; I find Chav Hate Depressing and Regressive; The London Feminist Network and We Work With Yoofs.

Under About Me, she describes herself as an, ageing adolescent with an attitude problem. Under Favorite Quotes, she cites the Mae West gem: 'She's the kind of girl who climbed the ladder of success wrong by wrong.' Which is quite witty but do we want a person who identifies with such a sentiment determining the future of our children?

I don't.

Under Activities and Interests, Ms Cullen lists: bickering; gossip (true or otherwise); scandal; sarcasm; being a gobshi*e and picking scabs.

Ladies and gentlemen, is there really anyone out there who wants a person like this mapping out the future for our children?

Professor Susan Talburt, the Director of the Women’s Studies Institute, at Georgia State University, in the USA, was the guest speaker at the seminar and delivered the keynote address. At Georgia State we are told that Professor Talburt teaches feminist methodologies; poststructural and feminist theories and youth and sexualities. Her research interests include feminist and queer theories.

Books Talburt has written include: Youth and Sexualities: Pleasure, Subversion and Insubordination In and Out of Schools and Thinking Queer: Sexuality, Culture, and Education, which she co-authored with Shirley R. Steinberg.

Here are some of the things the No Outsiders research team tell us about the seminar at their web site:

"THROUGH ONGOING DEBATE AND EXPLORATION DURING THE PROJECT, MEMBERS OF THE PROJECT TEAM HAVE… CHALLENGED EACH OTHER TO GO BEYOND IMAGINED POSSIBILITIES INTO QUEER PRACTICE. In addition, the team has explored… ways in which… performativity might be interrupted/disrupted in order both to QUEER THE NORM and normalise the queer."

'Queer the norm?' Turning straight behaviour gay? Is that what this means?

"The seminar continues this process, AIMING TO TROUBLE US – and the seminar participants – out of our comfort zones and TO QUESTION THE TAKEN-FOR-GRANTED OF THE SUPPOSEDLY SEXLESS, BODILESS AND DESIRE-LESS PRIMARY CLASSROOM.

Drawing on project data, the seminar will address these questions: HOW MIGHT WE CREATE PRIMARY CLASSROOMS WHERE GENDER-QUEER BODIES AND QUEER SEXUALITIES (FOR CHILDREN AND TEACHERS) ARE AFFIRMED AND CELEBRATED?

WHAT WOULD IT TAKE TO TEACH QUEERLY? HOW WOULD TEACHERS’ AND CHILDREN’S BODIES BE IMPLICATED IN THIS? WHAT SORTS OF SUBVERSIONS AND REVERSALS MIGHT IT ENTAIL?

AT WHAT COST DO WE DENY CHILDREN’S AND TEACHERS’ SEXUALITY? WHAT DO WE LOSE IF DESIRE AND PLEASURE ARE BANNED FROM THE CLASSROOM?"

And finally, ladies and gentlemen:

"WHAT IS THE PLACE OF THE RESEARCH TEAM MEMBERS’ OWN BODIES, DESIRES AND PLEASURES IN THIS RESEARCH?"

In other words, whilst we’re figuring out how to turn the nation’s children into a bunch of puffs and lesbians, let’s have a gay orgy.

Ladies and gentlemen, are you happy at the prospect of your 5-year-old being 'taught to understand the pleasures of gay sex?' I’m not. I think the No Outsiders project, which is already up and running in 14 primary schools, is nothing less than a paedophile’s charter.

The New Labour quango, The Economic and Social Research Council, gave the No Outsiders group £600,000 last year to conduct seminars like the one they held yesterday! The government, in turn, gave the ESRC £181 MILLION of taxpayer’s money to hand out to unrepresentative groups such as these!

New Labour does not use the cash we put into its coffers to protect us or our children, does it? Those who rule our lives are using our own money to destroy us!

On 7 July 2008, The Daily Mail told us that the National Children's Bureau, another government-funded quango, was getting twenty times as much funding as the No Outsiders group to produce documents which were saying things like:

"Even babies should not be ignored in the hunt for racism!"

THEY are at war with us, ladies and gentlemen.

THEY really are.
